In Q4 2024, with a group of 3 other SGH students, we took part in the XX edition of the Ernst & Young Financial Challenger contest. Our group reached semi-finals, and needed to apply our M&A, financial modelling, valuation, and other skills in various group-based tasks.

Bachelor's degree, Finance and Accounting

Oct 2020 - Jul 2023

SGH Warsaw School of Economics

Grade: 5
Activities and societies: SKN Badań nad Konkurencyjnością (Competitiveness Research Club), Klub Inwestora (Investor's Club), SKN Bankowości (Banking Club).
I graduated with honors and a 4.72 GPA (on a scale from 2 to 5) from Finance and Accounting, with concentrations in Investment Banking and Financial Markets, and Corporate Finance.
My bachelor's thesis, supervised by Professor Andrzej Sławiński, offered a plan for transforming the capital pillar of the Polish pension system into a defined contribution plan investing in passively managed, globally diversified target date funds. It outlined methods to hedge Polish pensioners against currency risk, to simplify the capital pillar of the pension system, and to increase the allocation of contributions to the capital pillar without destabilizing the pay-as-you-go pillar.
Together with my peers from the Competitiveness Research Club, I co-authored 'System wspierania innowacyjności i konkurencyjności w Finlandii. Wnioski dla Polski' (The Innovation and Competitiveness Support System in Finland. Conclusions for Poland), a book published by the Warsaw School of Economics.
In my sophomore year, I was awarded a Rector's Scholarship for academic excellence.
